Hansel & Gretel Story Time

Drop by the Mystic & Noank Library on Tuesday, January 17th to join a special Hansel & Gretel Story Time with Gingerbread House crafts for children. The story time will run from 1:15 to 2:00 p.m and is appropriate for ages 4 and up.

The Eastern Connecticut Symphony Orchestra is performing a family concert on Sunday, January 29^th at 2:00 p.m. at the Garde Arts Center in New London featuring the Eastern CT Ballet, and many famous storybook suites. Among them will be Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Hansel & Gretel. Tickets are $7 for general admission.

The Orchestra is offering a discount to any patrons that attend our special story time reading.

Take Your Child to the Library 2017!

Drop by the Mystic & Noank library on Saturday, February for the sixth annual Take Your Child to the Library Day with games, crafts, and snacks!

Take Your Child to the Library Day is an opportunity to encourage children to enjoy the Library, sign up for a library card, and join others for a day of fun. The Library will have board games available to play in the Children’s Room, Valentines crafts to make, and cookies and juice for all our littlest patrons!
10 a.m. - Sit! Stay! Read! & Scratch Club
11 a.m. - Children’s Museum of Southeastern CT will present Don’t Burst My Bubble
3 p.m. - The Secret Life of Pets Movie Matinee

No registration required; all programs are free and open to the public due to generous funding from the Friends of the M&N Library. Don’t Burst My Bubble will have a twenty child limit; admittance will be on a first come, first served basis.

The Mystic & Noank Library is continuing its Children's Winter Matinees. Warm up at the library this winter with a new movie every week, appropriate for children of all ages.
