We still have plenty of ticket vouchers left to any home Connecticut Defenders baseball games on Sundays through Thursdays through this season. By reading four books (outside of your required schools books), you may receive two ticket vouchers given to you by the Children's librarian ( All vouchers are based on availability). All kids 14 and under are eligible.
To win vouchers, bookmarks listing your four completed books must be received and initialed by the librarian.

New London ChessFest III
All kids who take part in the Mystic and Noank Library Chess Club are welcome to take part in the chess tournament being held at the Historic Downtown Waterfront Park in New London on Saturday, July 26th. There is a special kids' tournament division. Registration is from 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Also note that Chess Club will not be held at the Mystic and Noank Library that day.
Catch the Reading Bug Update
The last day to take part in Catch the Reading Bug game is Saturday, August 2. So be sure to come in and play, and try to solve the puzzle before the game ends.
