October is platemaking Month!

Come be a part of the platemaking tradition, our annual fundraiser in the Children's Room. During normal Library hours for the month of October, you can come in and design your own colorful plate. $8.00 per plate. Proceeds benefit the Children's Room.

Bedtime Stories

Begin this month on Monday, October 18th. We hope you can join us! The Reverend Barbara Porizky will share stories from the heart and imagination that tickle and embrace the child in all her listeners. For additional dates, check out our schedule.

Teen Summer Program Splash! Finds

This summer the teens were asked to help create the Make a Splash @ Your Library display for the Children's room by adding books, movies and music from the library to the display case. If you'd like to keep on keeping cool check out these titles:

Breaking News!

Summer Children and Teen Events!

Chess club continues all summer on Saturdays at 10:00 am in the children's room.

Children are welcome to join in the fun at Lego club Fridays, starting July 2nd from 10:30 to 12:00.

Join us Fridays at 3:00pm for movies every week! July 2nd through August 13th. Snacks from home welcome.

The summer reading program begins Monday, June 28th. Make a Splash at the Mystic and Noank Library!

Love bubbles? Pop over to the library to see BubbleMania, "comedy with a drip", Tuesday July 6th at 2:00pm.

Tuesday, July 13th at 2:00pm Danny Magic will bring his "magic for everyone" to the Mystic and Noank Library.

Come hear tales of the sea and shore with story teller Carolyn Martino, who brings us "Tales Ahoy!" on Tuesday, July 2oth at 2:00pm.

"Catch the Wave!", Tuesday July 27th at 2:00pm, with comedian and mime artist, Robert Rivest.

Join us for more "Tales of Sea and Shore" from Sparky's Puppets. Tuesday, August 3rd at 2:00pm.

Friday, June 25th the teens will kick off the summer with a surfing movie double-feature from 12:30-4:30pm. Snacks provided.

Monday, June 28th from 1:00-4:00pm join us in the teen area for some "Make a Splash!" themed games. Feel free to bring in any water themed games you have.

Teen Tie-Dye: July 12th from 1:00-4:00pm on the library lawn. Bring in a t-shirt, socks, tote bag, pillow case, you name it!

Do you prefer sushi or candy? What if you could combine the two? Teens can come create candy sushi Monday July 19th from 1:00-4:00pm.

Join us Monday, July 26th from 1:00-4:00pm for a fail-proof watercolor project to bring home or decorate the teen area!

Are you a bibliophile? Come make some decorations from recycled books for your room or the teen area Monday, August 2nd from 1:00-4:00pm.

Teens are invited to decorate their water bottles on Monday, August 9th from 1:00-4:00pm. You bring the bottle, we bring the rest!
