The Polar Express has arrived!

The “Mystic Polar Express” has arrived in the Children’s Room at the Mystic & Noank Library. Barry Boodman and Bill Salancy created and donated a railroad miniature in what has become a holiday tradition.  Children and families are invited to visit the Library during regular hours to make the train puff and toot its way around this magical setting.  As a fundraiser, the Library is auctioning off the entire set throughout the month of December.  Bidding closes on Saturday, December 22 at 2 p.m.

Trim a tree and more!

Join us for an afternoon of holiday festivities on Saturday, December 8th at 2:00 pm. There will be music, tree trimming, and crafts to get you into the spirit of the season. For more details call the Children’s Room, 860-536-7721.

Christmas Movie Matinee

Join us at the Mystic & Noank Library for a special holiday movie matinee! On Saturday, December 15th we will be showing Arthur Christmas in the Ames Meeting Room starting at 3:00pm. Bring your own snacks!

Winter Storytimes 2012!

The Mystic and Noank Library is pleased to announce our upcoming Winter Storytimes. The storytimes are scheduled to meet weekly, Monday through Friday. Classes consist of stories, fingerplays, crafts, and songs. Due to demand, registration is required. Registration will take place in the Children's Room during the week of November 13, 2012. Winter storytimes will begin the week of January 7, 2013.
Please register in person or by telepone; the library will contact you by mail. We try to accommodate everyone but, in the case of over enrollment, classes will be determined by lottery.
